Contagious flu ; Pass it On.

Monday, March 13, 2006
thanks ivan for that wipe on my shirt hah. now i'm down with sorethroat and a runny nose plus an irritating cough. breathless breathless. cant run cant jog cant swim.

This is how my monday goes...

7.10am: woke up. "oh freak, i'm late". with that said, in the next moment I was kancheongingly flagging for a cab. Another witty driver with loads of comments and insights. At that instance while I was conversing with him, it felt a like a mini-GP tutorial.

7.45am: Reached school and I realised that the bus is still there. Looking small and cozy. As usual ppl were late. I was considered to be early. early, wth so much for flagging a cab with an empty stomach.

8.00am-- ard 9am: Long and tired ride to NTU. that's the other end of the world from VJ. yeah from one end of the world to the other end. crapping joking whining sleeping napping were all nicely scheduled into our 1hour itinary.

9am to 5pm: The seminar(Econs and Public Policy) kicked off with a super interesting professor, someone with an exciting academic background. And the schedule goes on like this: every half an hour, the MC will sound the alarm and the next professor will take his stand in front of the whole vj-PT-sized LT and make his/her speech. Diminishing marginal utility sets in and I felt as if professional bedtime story tellers are coming for their auditions. But i learnt a lot from that seminar.

In between that period, there were 1 lunch break and 2 tea breaks. Yeah. the usual refreshments. except that some of the food seem to have expired. =X. i didnt say that.

Oh during the Q&A session, Mr Jack Cook (yes Jack Cook. I didnt type wrongly. quite a few teachers went. Include CT chow) asked quite a few questions addressed to the few professors on stage. Damn funny. haha. Shan't disclose the joke.

5pm-6pm: another sleepy 1hour ride back VJ. (2nd)Home sweet (2nd) Home. Nice to be home.

Went to walk ard with jotm in Tampines. Spilled sth drank sth saw sth. yeah.

More or less said, now let me concentrate on coughing and sneezing.

Severe common flu is nothing more than a cynosure. I'm the ambassador of the sickly of s64 now. grrrr.

Sneaky infant.

Today I boarded a feeder bus back home. And there's this cute angel who is hyperactive ard 2 years old who is particularly active in the 'hands department' kope my wallet while I was asleep. Didnt know I would fall prey to even small kids when I'm off in dreams. but then again the kid was cute. so it was not a crime. hhah.

i supposed it's a good time for me to organise my goals for this year. and hopefully i can fulfill them maybe some of them isnt realistic but impossible is nothing. i can even fall prey to a 2years old predator.

1) Aces and distinctions
2) Scholarship to fly away.
3) A place in LSE. the London School of Entertainment. Let's See Europe.
4) Get my fitness back on form.
5) 6pac abs and hercules's arms.
6) Be other ppl's tutelage and also find more outlets as well.
7) Find more reasons to be happy about for this whole year.

Yay! finally common tests are over. for me and some of us. sad to say, there's still computing tmr.. if not we would have really havocked on friday. at least the chem beings did themselves justice that day.

After hearing what Kang said a few days back, I've been wondering about mediocrity and the act of settling for mediocrity. It still haunt me sometimes. OK. put that aside.

I see myself engaging in my favourite activities after the common tests. But sadly, the god damned doc still dont want to give me the green light. Hey COME ON.

On thurs, few of us.ok call it a gang. a gang of us went for the career and education fair. It wasnt that great afterall. Moreover, the target audience is those working class people who want to engage in distance learning. u know. those local based 'overseas education'. But I heard that day there are a few booths that weren't around. like the UK education thingy. So now i'm contemplating whether to get my ass moving to check it out. o.O

hope there'll be more to look forward to these days. sometimes it's a displeasure to see someone frown. and worst, not knowing the cause of it. it hurts.

ok. saffa, cya soon.

and i realised I haven't even eat my breakfast. and I woke
up quite early today! it's an achievement.
we'll not settle for mediocrity.

we were high. and we'll be higher.
